Yoga means union in Sanskrit language. Yoga grows flexibility and strength in the body which leads the improvement of balance in it. Anyhow there are other merits as well. Yoga helps decrease stress in your body, enhance mobility of joint, decrease back problem by strengthening the spine. Some major merits of Yoga are improvement of posture, boosts glands in the endocrine system and improves digestion, circulation, immune system and much more.
Yoga as well has good things to the mental state of the body. Yoga would not only grow your body systems but as well grow your concentration, comforts your mind and the body and keeps your mind free from stress. You may become disciplined with Yoga.
If you are just beginning or have now never done any Yoga before, I recommend having a few distinct varieties of yoga to discover what you like best. It is not written anywhere to try out just one kind of Yoga each and everyday. Asthanga Yoga is my well-liked one but I even try Iyenagar Yoga and Hatha Yoga for a change.
The four types of yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga, Raja Yoga and Jnana Yoga, fundamentally teach several ways of having salvation. You will get freedom from the circle of good and evils ad infinitum after attaining moksha. Thus other meaning of Yoga is complete spiritual illumination. |
