Today's Hi-Tech TVs- HDTV [Jan. 3rd, 2007|11:54 am]

HDTV means High Definition Television. This invention was originally rooted in the USA at the time of the 1990s, by the Digital HDTV Grand Alliance. This is also explained as 1080 active lines, 16 x 9 aspect proportion in ITU-R BT.709.

HDTV implies presentation of large screen picture with more and more refinement and clarity than found in regular analogue Televisions, or other digitalized Televisions formats. It is really a Digital Television screen format, and is considered to be the perfect quality DTV format seen.

Direct-view, rear screen, plasma, and front screen projection are several kinds of High defintion television displays. HDTVs can be viewed with HDTV tuner and 1080i is the most specific HDTV format.
