I have no idea what you mean about it lasting long, if it turned black, that's tarnish, you need good silver polish and elbow grease. It should return to it's shiny state as soon as you clean it.

ok i have 3.75 gpa, and 48 credits after this semester and my gpa will go up a little because im going to get straight a's.
i am going to transfer when i get 60 credits to a university, i live in florida. one of my friends was telling me how she got like 35k in grants, she lives in Illinois, because she has like a 4.3 gpa or something like that and i believe the school offered her that, where she was applying at.
i was wondering should i apply at higher schools like fsu and uf. Im pretty sure i can get into ucf no doubt. I mean i have done community service including going to kenya for 3 months volunteering so i have good grades and volunteer experience and i want to join numerous clubs at the school. I would prefer to go to fsu but financial restraints stop me.
do you know if all universities offer you money like that because to go to uf or fsu id have to dorm and im in the lowest bracket financially for my financial aid so obviously i couldnt afford it.

Some apparel stores are just too much for me. Take Old Navy for example. I like their stuff, and the prices are great, but I don't like to shop there. Not only do I feel like I have andered into the wrong store, I have to dodge salespeople the entire time I'm there. I have been asked if I would like an Old Navy card I don't know how many times, and it seems they won't take no for an answer. Apparel stores need to understand that it's ok to get people to sign up, but you really have towatch your sales tactics. For every three people they sign up, they alienate three more.
You can find apparel stores almost anywhere you look. A mall is full of them, and they are mainstays in other shopping centers as well. We all need clothing, so therefore we all need to shop in apparel stores. Most people like to shop in such stores, but for me, I always seem to loathe going inside. Not only do I feel out of touch, I feel completely and totally lost in a sea of possibilities. You might say I don't have any one style of clothing I like, I just buy what catches my eye. Luxury jeweler Tiffany & Co. said it plans to close its unprofitable Iridesse pearl jewelry chain, partly because of a tough economy that has hindered demand for jewelry.

Tiffany spokesman Mark Aaron said Iridesse hasn't been profitable since it opened in 2004. Iridesse also generated "very modest" sales worth less than 1 percent of Tiffany Earrings total revenue, Aaron said.

"It had been posting an operating loss since it opened," Aaron said. "It might have been viable if there was a better retail environment, but the economy was the last straw."

Aaron said Iridesse stores will start closing once Tiffany is able to reach agreements with its landlords and sell off inventory. Aaron said the store closings will result in some job losses, but could not yet say how many.

"We hope to place at least some of the employees in positions at Tiffany Necklaces
Aaron said.

There are 16 Iridesse locations nationwide, Aaron said, and are located mostly on the East and West coasts.

Aaron said Iridesse's closing allows Tiffany to turn its focus to its core Tiffany brand.

Like many other retailers, Tiffany has been hurt by softness in luxury spending and continued layoffs nationwide.

On Monday, Standard & Poor's lowered its fiscal 2010 profit and sales forecast for Tiffany on economic weakness. However, S&P said it still expected Tiffany to emerge from the recession with increased market share and expansion opportunities.

In January, Tiffany said same-store sales for the holiday season slid 24 percent mostly because of softness at U.S. stores. Same-store sales, or sales at stores open at least a year, are a key indicator of retailer performance since they measure growth at existing stores rather than newly opened ones. At that time, the New York-based company also lowered its full-year profit forecast.

Looking back to the third quarter, Tiffany's earnings topped Wall Street expectations, helped by higher sales in the Asia-Pacific region and in Europe.

The company is slated to report fourth-quarter results on March 23. At that time, the company will provide more information on charges to close the stores, Aaron said.

Shares of Tiffany added 19 cents to close at $18.45. Last week, the shares hit a nine-year low of $16.70
